#795 Ordering Coffee and Tea (男性＝Ｍ 女性＝Ｗ）
Ｍ：I'd like a decaf drip to go Ｗ：Would you like alight or a dark roast? Ｍ：I'll just have whatever's freshly brewed Ｗ：Are you sure you don't want to try an espresso, an Americano or a latte? Ｍ：No, just a decaf coffee. Ｗ：Sure. No problem. Would you like it hot or cold? Ｍ：Hot, please. Ｗ：Would you like any room for cream? Ｍ：No, thanks. Ｗ：Would you like some sweetener? A couple of pumps of syrup, may be? Ｍ：No, I'll add a couple of packets of sugar myself. Ｗ：Oh, I'm sorry! I added some foam from another drink to your coffee by accident. I'll have to start over. Did you say you wanted a light or dark roast? Ｍ：Forget it. Let's keep it simple. Give me a cup of tea. Ｗ：Would you like that hot or cold? Sweetened or unsweetened? Loose-leaf or in a teabag? （・・・ところで茶葉のこと、loose leafっていいます？ タイプミスとかご指摘下さい。）
面白いなと思ったのは、"Would you like any room for cream?"「（コーヒーの中に）クリームをいれるためのスペースは必要ですか？」 room使うんですね。 ホストのJeffが「 "I'd like a large drip of coffee with room, please"とかいうとネイティブぽいよ～」と言ってました。
Sally: I'd like the chef's salad, please, with the oil and vinegar on the side...and the apple pie a la mode Waitress: Shef and apple a la mode... Sally: But I'd like the pie heated and I don't want the ice cream on top, I want it on the side, and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla if you have it, if not then no ice cream just whipped cream but only if it's real; if it's out of the can then nothing. Waitress: Not even the pie? Sally: No, I want the pie, but then not heated.
